The Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, was celebrated on Friday, 30th July 2026 at St. Xavier’s Tiny Tots Academy.
The Junior KG teachers conducted meaningful activities with the students. The children brought hand and leaf cut-outs from home. Jr. KG A participated in the “Helping Hands” Activity, while Jr. KG B created a “Tree of Kindness,” highlighting the values of helping, sharing and caring.
The Sr. KG teachers spoke to the students about the Ignatian values and their importance in our daily lives. A short video on the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola was also shown to the children.
On 31st July, the Feast Mass was celebrated by Fr. Joel Mascarenhas, followed by an entertainment programme. The celebration helped the children learn about St. Ignatius and encouraged them to practise love, kindness and service in their everyday lives.
